Adoption coordinators find the right home for the right animal

As an adoption coordinator, you will spend a lot of time talking to potential adoptive families to assess which animal is the right fit for them. In this role, you will also disseminate knowledge about the animal species we rehome. Information work is important to ensure that our animals thrive in their new homes.

An adoption coordinator should have good interpersonal skills in addition to basic knowledge of animal behavior and animal welfare.

They must also know the animals in our care very well so that they can find the right home for each animal.
