Bonnie
Bonnie is a bullmastiff female of almost 7 years. She is as gentle as a lamb and loves food and cuddles! Like most females, she goes into heat a couple of times a year. This time, the heat would prove to be something out of the ordinary.
First, it started with what looked like discharge. There were no signs of blood, but Bonnie was in good shape. After a short while, the discharge stopped. Then Bonnie started drinking a lot and urinating for a very long time. Then the appetite disappeared and Bonnie’s condition deteriorated. In addition, she started bleeding a lot.

It became clear to her owner Susanne that Bonnie was not well. Unforeseen events in the owner’s life have unfortunately led to very tight finances.
If it hadn’t been for Lisaklinikken, Bonnie would not be alive today. Her circumstances were so bad that I wouldn’t have had time to collect enough money in time to save her life.

Fortunately for Bonnie, we have the Lisa Clinic at Animal Protection Norway. Bonnie turned out to have a uterine infection, and the only treatment for this is an operation to remove the uterus. Bonnie was critically ill on arrival and had to be operated on. Fortunately, it went well, and Bonnie is now back in full swing. She is once again happy and playful and has regained her good appetite.
